Three days out and it’s crunch time. Gear check today and finish my food/supply can prep. These military .50 caliber ammo cans will hold two days of food and supplies...and will be stashed near trailheads with a four day hiking distance separating each stash.
The record snowfall and slow melting has caused some early thur-hikers to alter their plans. We start on July 3.
